About the role

The Examiner will provide administrative and technical support for vehicle and driver licensing functions, ensuring compliance with South African transport legislation and standards.

Key responsibilities

Execute administrative support for all testing functions and issue licences.
Conduct vehicle inspections, including pit tests, roadworthiness and fitness certification.
Perform eye tests, learner’s licence classes and driver fitness assessments.
Verify engine/chassis numbers and ensure SAP clearance.
Calculate vehicle wear and tear and enforce SABS codes and relevant legislation.

Required profile

Grade 12 qualification.
Valid EC & A driver’s licence, preferably with PrDP.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
No criminal record.
Computer literacy with Natis/e‑Natis systems.

Required skills

Natis/e‑Natis system operation.
SAP clearance verification.
Vehicle inspection and fitness assessment.
