Unit Manager – Trauma Unit

About the role

The Trauma Unit at Life Peglerae Hospital is seeking an experienced Unit Manager to lead clinical practice, coordinate resources and drive quality outcomes. You will be the central point for clinical leadership, staff development and operational efficiency within a high‑pressure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of nursing care plans and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment programs.
• Act as the clinical expert to achieve patient outcomes and ensure staff competence.
• Conduct quality care rounds, clinical audits and address patient complaints.
• Implement national quality initiatives and monitor safety risks.
• Drive best operating practices and support hospital marketing initiatives.
• Provide visible leadership aligned with LHC values and manage all people‑related processes.
• Participate in budgeting, control nursing costs and manage stock and equipment utilization.
• Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including doctors, patients and service providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in clinical leadership and unit management within a hospital setting.
• Ability to develop staff competence, supervise students and foster a learning environment.
• Strong track record of implementing quality and safety initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
