About the role

The Unit Manager (I) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NNICU) at Netcare Garden City Hospital will lead the nursing team to deliver high‑quality, ethical patient care. Reporting to senior hospital leadership, the role focuses on compliance, service delivery, and staff development within a multidisciplinary quality‑assurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and improve the quality of nursing care in the NNICU, ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards.
• Monitor nursing service delivery and verify that practices align with multidisciplinary quality‑assurance protocols.
• Lead capacity‑building initiatives, including mentoring, coaching, and training of nursing staff.

Required profile
