UK Homecare Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a sharp, process‑driven Quality Assurance Manager to work alongside our Chairman and provide the oversight needed for our UK homecare business to grow safely. You will monitor weekly that UK services are delivered and recorded to standard, build the evidence that proves compliance, and flag any shortfalls directly to Registered Managers and the Chairman before they become problems. This is not a clinical role and no nursing qualification is required.

Key responsibilities

• Run a weekly audit cycle across UK homecare cases, checking records and documentation against required standards.
• Build and maintain audit‑ready evidence packs that Registered Managers can present at any CQC inspection.
• Read and interpret UK regulatory and compliance material and translate it into practical checklists.
• Use AI tools to manage high volumes of case and compliance documentation efficiently and accurately as a core part of the job.
• Report shortcomings clearly to Registered Managers and the Chairman, and follow through until resolved.
• Help refine the processes this role runs on as the business scales.

Required profile

• Based in Cape Town and able to work in person alongside the Chairman.
• Strong track record in a compliance, quality assurance, audit or governance role in any sector.
• Excellent written English and ability to work unaided from formal regulatory or policy documents.
• Hands‑on fluency with AI tools for managing documentation and reporting at volume.
• High attention to detail and comfort working to structured, repeatable processes.
• Confident communicator, comfortable holding ground with senior professionals.
• Willingness to complete a full background and reference check given access to UK care records and safeguarding data.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools for documentation and reporting.
• Experience using ShiftCare or a comparable care‑management/client‑tracking system.
