Trust Administrator

About the role

Join the Fiduciary team at First National Bank Namibia Limited and provide specialist advice across the full trust administration process. You will work in an adaptable environment alongside diverse professionals, delivering high‑quality service to co‑trustees and beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Administer a portfolio of trusts in line with the trust deed and applicable legislation.
• Maintain statutory records such as trust deeds, letters of authority, trustee resolutions and beneficiary registers.
• Prepare trustee meeting packs, minutes and ensure proper execution of trustee decisions.
• Manage relationships with co‑trustees, beneficiaries and external advisors including accountants and tax consultants.
• Ensure timely completion of regulatory and tax submissions and accurate processing of distributions.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Law, Finance or Financial Planning).
• At least 3 years of experience in trust administration, financial planning or fiduciary services.
• Professional qualifications such as FISA or CFP are advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of trust law and fiduciary principles.
• Understanding of South African tax regimes (income tax, CGT, donations tax).
• Basic accounting and investment analysis capabilities.
