About the role
We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager on a month-to-month contract to lead treasury activities for an established organisation in Mount Edgecombe, Durban. The role focuses on cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships and financial risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital requirements
- Oversee borrowings, investments and internal loans
- Manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, including hedging
- Monitor USD exposures and offshore cash flow requirements
- Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements
- Provide treasury expertise on financing and investment decisions
- Prepare treasury reports for senior management
- Lead and develop a small treasury team
Required profile
- 3-year tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 4–5 years of treasury or banking experience in a medium to large organisation
- Strong expertise in FX, cash flow, liquidity and risk management
- Proven ability to manage banking relationships
- Excellent reporting, analytical and administrative skills
- Confident communication with senior management and key stakeholders
