Treasury Manager – Month-to-Month Contract

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Treasury Manager to join an established organisation on a month-to-month contract based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital requirements
• Manage local and international banking relationships and facilities
• Oversee borrowings, investments and internal loans
• Manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, including hedging
• Monitor USD exposures and offshore cash flow requirements
• Ensure compliance with relevant banking and regulatory requirements
• Provide treasury expertise on financing and investment decisions
• Prepare treasury reports and support senior management
• Manage and support a small treasury team

Required profile

• 3‑year tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 4–5 years’ relevant Treasury/Banking experience, ideally within a medium to large organisation
• Strong FX, cash flow, liquidity and risk management experience
• Proven experience managing banking relationships
• Strong reporting, analytical and administrative skills
• Confident engaging with senior management and key stakeholders
