Travel GDS Call Centre Agent (Senior Associate)

About the role

WNS South Africa is looking for an experienced Corporate Travel Consultant with GDS expertise to join its team in Cape Town. The role suits someone who enjoys helping corporate clients plan seamless journeys and thrives in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Prior travel industry experience is a key requirement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a travel consultant for international customers using GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre and Galileo
• Handle customer inquiries on bookings, changes, cancellations and other travel modifications
• Resolve complaints and issues with a customer-first approach
• Process payments securely in line with verification and compliance policies
• Provide tailored travel recommendations and advise on travel products and basic geography
• Report potential security concerns or client complaints to management
• Meet SLAs, schedules and timelines

Required profile

• At least 12 months of GDS experience
• At least 2 years of international contact centre experience
• Proven experience in a TMC or corporate travel environment, including complex fare construction, ticketing, BSP processes and refunds
• Advanced working knowledge of Amadeus (certified) and Sabre, with detailed fare calculation, pricing, ticketing, reissue and refund knowledge
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Clear credit and criminal record; Matric qualification
