Transportation Creditors Manager – Logistics & Transport

About the role

Latitude Resource, a fast‑growing transport and logistics brokerage in Bellville, is seeking an experienced Transportation Creditors Manager. You will own the end‑to‑end creditors function, ensure timely and accurate payments to transport suppliers, and lead a high‑performing creditors team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full transportation creditors/accounts payable process, from invoice capture to payment runs.
• Oversee supplier reconciliations, ensure accurate cost allocation, and maintain strong financial controls.
• Build and maintain relationships with transport vendors, resolve queries, and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Lead, mentor and develop the creditors team, handling performance management and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager, Creditors Manager or Finance Team Leader in a logistics or transport environment.
• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for supplier and internal stakeholder management.
• Leadership experience with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
