Training Manager – QSR/Fast Food (KZN)

About the role

Our client, a leading QSR/fast‑food chain in KwaZulu‑Natal, is looking for an experienced Training Manager to lead the regional training function. The role involves designing and delivering structured training programmes, managing a team of about 20 trainers and supporting new store openings across the province.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement structured training programs.
• Deliver operational training in line with company SOPs.
• Manage, coach and develop a team of approximately 20 trainers.
• Plan staff rosters and coordinate trainer schedules.
• Monitor employee performance and identify training needs.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers and performance documentation.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching where required.
• Support new store openings and operational roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• 5–10 years fast‑food/QSR operations management and training experience.
• Proven experience managing a training team.
• Experience facilitating operational and classroom‑based training.
• Experience with staff rostering and workforce planning.
• Experience supporting new store openings and operational roll‑outs.
• Strong administration and reporting experience.
• Valid driver’s licence, own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel extensively throughout KZN.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) and flexible to work extended periods away from home.
