About the role
JAM is seeking a motivated Trainee Manager to join its team in Atterbury, Gauteng. This entry‑level management role offers the chance to develop retail leadership skills in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day store operations and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist with regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Drive sales results and contribute to achieving store targets.
- Monitor store appearance, merchandising, and health‑and‑safety requirements.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
- Proven track record of accurate stock taking.
- Strong leadership and results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer‑centric attitude.
- High attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
