About the role

Join a professional safari operation in Zululand as a Trails Guide, delivering exceptional game drives and guided walks for guests. You will work in a supportive lodge environment that values conservation, guest experience, and continuous professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily game drives and guided walks, ensuring safety and educational value.
• Mentor and train junior guides, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Engage with guests to create memorable, high‑quality safari experiences.
• Maintain lodge standards by coordinating with other departments and contributing to overall operational success.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Trail Guide in a safari lodge setting.
• FGASA Level 1 or 2 qualification with Trails Guide certification.
• Valid First Aid Level 1 certification.
• Valid driver’s licence with PDP and registration with DEAT/NDT.
• Strong knowledge of the Zululand region, wildlife, and local culture (advantageous).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and guest‑interaction abilities.
• Professional, reliable, and committed to conservation and bush living.
