About the role
A vacancy has arisen at Halfway Durban Central for a Tracker Technician. The role involves fitting the full range of Tracker products both in the fitment centre and at remote locations.
Key responsibilities
- Fit the full range of Tracker products in the fitment centre and at remote destinations.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Maintain technical excellence in installations.
- Support people development within the team.
- Read and interpret technical bulletins from Tracker.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent and qualified as a fitter.
- Valid driver’s licence; existing Tracker Technician number is advantageous.
- At least 1–2 years experience in a fitment environment.
- Honest, reliable and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to undergo regular background checks and polygraph tests.
Required skills
- Electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency using a multimeter.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Capability to interpret technical bulletins.
