Tour Sales Consultant – South Africa

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Tour Sales Consultant to join a leading tour and travel company in South Africa. You will be the primary point of contact for international clients, guiding them through the booking process and ensuring memorable safari experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client inquiries, bookings, and payments via WhatsApp, email, and phone with prompt response times.
• Prepare detailed itineraries that reflect all client preferences and requested services.
• Generate accurate invoices for confirmed bookings and follow up on timely payments.
• Collect post‑safari feedback and address any concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Communicate any itinerary changes before and during trips.
• Resolve issues early to ensure a smooth travel experience.
• Contribute to weekly and monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry, specifically in tour consulting or hotel operations.
• Proven track record selling Southern Africa destinations such as Botswana and Namibia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle multiple client requests efficiently and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital booking and communication tools.
