Tender Manager / Specialist – East Rand

About the role

The Tender Manager / Specialist will lead the end‑to‑end tender and bid process for public and private sector opportunities in the East Rand region. The role ensures that all submissions are accurate, compliant, competitive and delivered on time, supporting business growth and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and monitor tender opportunities, reviewing specifications, scope and contractual requirements.
• Develop tender schedules, maintain registers and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate the preparation of technical, commercial and financial proposals, gathering input from engineering, procurement, finance, legal and management teams.
• Compile executive summaries, company profiles and mandatory statutory documentation.
• Assist with pricing strategies, cost estimates and commercial evaluations, and review contractual terms for risks.
• Support contract negotiations, client clarification meetings and handover of awarded projects to operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with client, regulatory and internal policies, maintaining document control throughout the process.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders, attending briefings, site visits and clarification meetings.
• Track tender outcomes, success rates and pipeline opportunities, providing regular updates to management.
