About the role
We are seeking a safety‑focused Telescopic Handler Operator to join a leading mining and project services organisation in Mooi Nooi. You will operate telehandlers to move, load, unload and position materials across mining, construction and industrial sites.
Key responsibilities
- Operate telehandlers (Magni, Manitou, Merlo, etc.) safely in line with site procedures.
- Transport, lift, position and stack materials while respecting load‑chart limits.
- Carry out daily pre‑operational inspections and report any defects.
- Support material distribution, logistics and shutdown activities.
- Maintain accurate operational records and inspection checklists.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Valid Telehandler Operator certification and driver’s licence.
- Minimum 3 years experience operating telehandlers in mining, construction or heavy‑engineering environments.
- Good knowledge of lifting operations, load charts and safety regulations.
