Telemarketer – Customer Acquisition

About the role

The Telemarketer will promote Scorpion's legal and funeral products to prospective members using the call‑centre facilities and leads supplied from various sources. This permanent position works on a shift schedule in an on‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and achieve monthly sales targets for both legal and funeral product lines.
• Use the prescribed script to present product features, benefits and exclusions, and handle all customer queries professionally.
• Capture complete and accurate member information to generate valid proposals and ensure correct banking details for deductions.
• Make all required disclosures and disclosures in strict accordance with the script, providing a clear summary at the end of each call.
• Maintain daily and monthly performance reports, adhering to departmental standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and management to optimise call‑centre operations and ensure compliance with quality and professional conduct standards.
