About the role
The Technician is responsible for delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance on heavy vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, on‑time delivery and workplace safety.
Key responsibilities
- Secure the correct information, tools and spare parts before each maintenance or repair event.
- Perform maintenance or repair work using established methods, standards and safety procedures, completing tasks on time and correctly.
- Minimise invoicing lead time after work by providing clear descriptions of performed tasks and any follow‑up actions.
Required profile
- Matric certificate, N3 or equivalent.
- Qualified Diesel Technician with a Trade Test Certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years of workshop experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles (non‑negotiable).
- Current employment in the present role for at least 1 year.
Required skills
- Diesel engine repair.
- Heavy vehicle maintenance.
- Use of workshop tools and spare‑part management.
- Basic proficiency with information‑technology systems for documentation and invoicing.
