Technician – IT Maintenance & Support

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technician to support and improve the technical systems that drive productivity across Pepkor Lifestyle. The role involves maintaining hardware, installing software, and ensuring network reliability in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on IT hardware components.
• Install, configure, and update software applications.
• Provide troubleshooting support for technical issues.
• Assist with networking system setup and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical problems.

Required profile

• Matriculation (high school) qualification.
• CompTIA A+ certification (Essentials and Core).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong selling skills and ability to close a sale.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective troubleshooting, stress and conflict management abilities.
• Target‑driven, self‑managed with high integrity and attention to detail.
• Customer‑centric mindset and personal resilience.
