Technician – Forklift & Warehouse Equipment (Cape Town)

About the role

The successful candidate will provide technical and diagnostic assistance within the service department, delivering repair and preventative maintenance for forklifts and warehouse equipment both on‑site and off‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, service and maintain IC and electrical forklifts at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Complete job cards using the PhoneApp system.
• Communicate effectively with managers, call centre staff and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of all maintenance and work areas daily.
• Assist with general maintenance activities as required.
• Travel to customer sites for on‑site and off‑site servicing.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience with compressed‑air equipment and forklift maintenance.
• Technical qualifications such as Grade 12 or relevant diplomas are advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented and customer‑focused.
• Accountable, dependable and able to work quickly, neatly and accurately.
