Technical Training Officer

About the role

The Technical Training Officer will design, deliver and manage technical training programmes for the South African region. Reporting to regional management, the role supports internal teams, dealer networks and customers by ensuring they have up‑to‑date product knowledge and maintenance skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual technical training plan for South Africa.
• Coordinate and deliver scheduled and ad‑hoc technical training programmes.
• Liaise with internal technical departments, regional management and dealer networks to align training requirements.
• Design and customise training programmes for different learner groups.
• Deliver product knowledge and maintenance training to internal technical and service teams.
• Coordinate and conduct customer training sessions on‑site and at training facilities.
• Develop and maintain technical training manuals, presentations and learning materials.
• Ensure training content stays aligned with new products and technical updates.
• Manage training schedules, attendance records and training resources.
• Utilise training management systems to plan, monitor and report on training activities.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical support during product launches and service initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.
