Technical Tool Owner – Supply Chain Product Lifecycle

About the role

Join us in a pivotal role responsible for steering the end‑to‑end lifecycle of supply‑chain products. The position requires strategic vision to ensure product quality, technology advancement, reliability and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and chart the future roadmap for the product.
• Oversee activities that align with the defined roadmap.
• Communicate and showcase product value within the organisation.
• Lead a diverse team to deliver high‑quality products.
• Create, implement and evaluate the product budget.
• Prioritise new requirements and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
• Provide feedback and act as an escalation point for client issues.
• Resolve impediments that affect release or sprint goals.
• Collaborate with global colleagues across time zones to drive continuous improvement.
• Implement new processes to enhance productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or a related automotive field (NQF 7).
• 3–5 years of IT experience; familiarity with supply‑chain processes is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive attitude towards new technologies and excellent communication skills.
• Experience leading a product team is beneficial.
