Technical Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a technically strong and client‑focused Technical Team Leader to guide our technical team and act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients. The role blends technical leadership, service delivery, and sales support to ensure clients receive professional guidance and practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support the technical team to achieve optimal performance and service delivery.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and escalation support for complex issues.
• Ensure work complies with company standards and client requirements.
• Identify skills gaps, arrange training, and act as the primary technical contact for clients.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly, attend client meetings, and build strong client relationships.
• Assist clients in selecting suitable products and solutions, offering technical advice and recommendations.
• Support the sales team with technical input, quotations, proposals, and solution design.
• Stay updated on industry developments, monitor service standards, and coordinate between technical, operational, and sales teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical leadership, support or management.
• Proven experience managing or supervising a technical team.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain products and solutions.
• Experience engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience preparing quotations, proposals, or solution designs.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
