Technical Support Consultant – Retail

About the role

As a Technical Support Consultant in our retail environment, you will be the first point of contact for iStore customers seeking assistance with Apple products and services. You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, provide guidance on product usage, and deliver training when needed. The role demands a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on Apple devices and related software.
• Deliver on‑site training and assistance to customers on product features and best practices.
• Maintain high standards of professional service and customer satisfaction.
• Document incidents and solutions in the help‑desk system for future reference.

Required profile

• Completed Matric and an IT qualification (minimum A+ / N+ level).
• Previous experience in a Helpdesk or 1st Line Support role.
• Demonstrated tenacity, enthusiasm and a sense of urgency in problem solving.
• Ability to manage conflict, understand situational context and act appropriately.
• Proactive attitude toward learning and personal development.

• N+ certification.
