Technical Sales Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technical Sales Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. You will combine technical knowledge of waterproofing solutions with strong sales expertise to grow our client base and support construction projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and waterproofing sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine waterproofing requirements.
• Provide technical waterproofing recommendations and tailored solutions.
• Prepare professional quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Follow up on leads, negotiate terms, and close sales.
• Achieve and exceed defined sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after project completion.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within waterproofing or construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site assessment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑driven, goal‑oriented and able to work independently.
