Technical Quotations Manager - Switchgear & Power Distribution

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Quotations Manager to lead the preparation and coordination of technical quotations for switchgear and power distribution products. This office‑based, remote position works closely with customers, vendors, and an internal quotations team to ensure accurate and timely proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day quotations workflow, prioritising 10–15 active quotations simultaneously.
• Coordinate activities across a small quotations team and act as the central point of contact for customers, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Review customer requirements, technical specifications and pricing information to produce complete and accurate quotations.
• Maintain progress of each quotation from enquiry through to order, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Align priorities with company leadership and keep projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the electrical distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of switchgear, circuit breakers, fuses, panelboards, low‑voltage and medium‑voltage systems, UPS and electrical protection equipment.
• Experience preparing or coordinating technical quotations and working with electrical contractors, distributors or manufacturers.
• Excellent organisational, communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
