About the role
The Technical Lead will spearhead the design and creation of integrated, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions for Nedbank. You will combine practical expertise with strategic foresight, guiding teams and shaping system architectures to keep solutions progressive and innovative.
Key responsibilities
- Design and architect integrated, scalable, sustainable technical solutions aligned with organisational standards and future readiness.
- Lead solution discussions in governance forums, secure approvals, and influence stakeholders across technology and business domains.
- Break down solutions into actionable components, support work sequencing, resource allocation and planning.
- Contribute to functional and non‑functional requirements, assist designers with detailed design, and troubleshoot delivery issues.
- Monitor emerging technologies, trends and risks, ensuring technical assets remain refined and sustainable.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years experience in a comparable Technical Lead role within banking or financial services.
- Diploma required; preferred BSc in Computer Science or BCom in Information Systems.
- Professional certifications such as TOGAF and ITIL (or equivalent) are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, make decisions, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
