Technical Delivery Manager - Project Manager

About the role

Our client, a global investment advisory firm, is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead multiple technology teams across digital workplace, infrastructure, cyber security and identity & access management projects. The role blends project management expertise with technical delivery, operating in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage five distinct teams and oversee concurrent technology projects across several domains.
• Drive end‑to‑end delivery using agile practices: sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance, prioritisation and performance management for project teams while collaborating with stakeholders, leads and engineers.
• Embed AI tools and automation into project management processes to increase efficiency and improve reporting.
• Maintain strict project governance, including RAID logs, budget tracking and status reporting, and resolve risks and blockers.
• Translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders and contribute to strategic delivery framework enhancements.
• Support prioritisation of 70+ roadmap items, define scope, schedule milestones and produce leadership communications.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple technology teams and delivering large‑scale projects.
• Strong background in agile methodologies and sprint management.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to bridge technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience with project governance, risk management and performance measurement.
