Technical Customer Support Agent

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing South African solar and renewable‑energy company, is seeking two Technical Customer Support Agents for its Customer Experience team. This fixed‑term position blends customer service, technical troubleshooting and end‑to‑end administration to ensure client issues are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical queries and service requests via email and phone.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues, determining appropriate next steps.
• Manage the full administrative lifecycle of each request, updating internal systems accurately.
• Develop a solid understanding of the company’s solar solutions, equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with a small team to follow through and close customer cases.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in customer service, technical support or technical administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical problem‑solving ability and keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and systems quickly.
• Willingness to work onsite in an office, Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and undergo background checks.
