Technical Content Writer – Financial Markets (Cape Town)

About the role

Oasis Group Holdings is looking for a skilled Financial Content Writer with strong investment writing experience to join their Cape Town team. The role is ideal for writers with asset‑management, banking or financial‑services backgrounds who can translate complex market information into clear, engaging, compliant content.

Key responsibilities

• Write market commentary, fund updates, articles and educational investment content.
• Produce SEO‑optimised website, blog and LinkedIn content.
• Assist with thought‑leadership pieces and executive communications.
• Translate performance data and economic trends into investor‑friendly insights.
• Support campaign content across digital and traditional platforms.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance and alignment with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts and marketing teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in financial or investment writing.
• Solid understanding of capital markets, asset classes, JSE, offshore investing, rand exposure and retirement products.
• Experience writing for retail, HNWI or institutional audiences.
• Strong research, editing and proofreading skills.
• Working knowledge of SEO, CMS platforms and analytics tools.
• High attention to detail in a regulated financial environment.
