Team Leader – Mobile Betting

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a dynamic Team Leader to drive growth of its mobile betting platform in Bethlehem, Free State. You will lead a team of sales agents, coordinate marketing initiatives and ensure revenue targets are met while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Area Managers to achieve mobile betting growth targets.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions and events with regional marketing support.
• Oversee daily promotional activities and ensure marketing materials are available and in good condition.
• Manage stock levels, produce daily stock reports and monitor cash‑up procedures.
• Measure promotion effectiveness using the Promo Tracker system.
• Conduct market analysis and provide recommendations for mobile department improvements.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing and onboarding of sales agents in partnership with HR.
• Set daily targets, conduct performance reviews, handle HR/IR matters and manage under‑performance through PIP processes.
• Monitor team attendance, leave and absenteeism.
• Identify and develop Top‑Up Voucher outlet opportunities, including outlet visits.
• Organise continuous training on betting products, processes and internal platforms (Moodle/Betstrike).

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong ability to understand customer needs and manage diverse personalities.
• Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Post‑Matric qualification is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with Promo Tracker (internal reporting tool).
• Familiarity with Moodle and Betstrike training platforms.
