Team Leader (Driver & Warehouse)

About the role

Spidex Express is seeking a results‑driven Team Leader to oversee both driver and warehouse operations. You will manage a team of last‑mile delivery drivers, coordinate parcel handling in the warehouse, and ensure that deliveries are completed safely, on time, and to the required service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and supervise a team of delivery drivers.
• Allocate parcels and routes, monitor daily delivery performance and address customer issues.
• Track driver attendance, productivity and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Oversee warehouse activities including receiving, scanning, sorting and dispatch of parcels.
• Maintain accurate parcel processing, safety standards and operational discipline.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in courier, logistics, delivery or fleet operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of drivers.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge of local road networks and delivery areas.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
• Own vehicle (advantageous).
