About the role
English 1 is looking for enthusiastic individuals to teach English to children and teenagers across Indonesia. No prior teaching experience or Bahasa Indonesia is required – the programme provides full training, certification support and a one‑year contract.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver English lessons to learners aged 3‑18 using English 1’s multimedia curriculum.
- Engage students in interactive classroom activities and social projects.
- Utilise award‑winning teaching technology to enhance learning outcomes.
Required profile
- Valid passport and a bachelor’s degree.
- Willingness to commit to a one‑year placement abroad.
- Ability to obtain or already hold an ESL/TEFL certification (sponsored by English 1 if needed).

- Basic proficiency in English.
