Systems Engineer

About the role

Atlas Technica is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its remote team supporting hedge funds and investment firms. The role offers fast technical growth in a collaborative environment, working alongside senior engineers on Microsoft‑centric infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT support services to end‑users and manage tickets through a ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow strict change‑control procedures.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD).
• Administer Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Citrix XenApp where applicable.
• Assist with endpoint protection using Sophos or similar solutions.
• Perform basic virtualization tasks on VMware or Hyper‑V and troubleshoot networking components (TCP/IP, LAN/DMZ/WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls).

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support, systems engineering or systems administration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements (lifting up to 50 lb, standing/sitting for extended periods, etc.).

• ConnectWise or similar MSP ticketing platforms
• Basic knowledge of Azure or AWS (desirable)
