Systems Engineer: Groupwise

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer specializing in GroupWise to design, implement and provide Level 3 support for our enterprise email platform and related services. The role covers management of Exchange and GroupWise environments, migration projects and future scalability planning.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support hybrid Microsoft Exchange 2013 and Novell GroupWise 2014 environments.
• Perform day‑to‑day operations including change, release, performance and availability management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Exchange, Lync/Skype for Business and related services.
• Collaborate with network, telephony and vendor teams to ensure seamless messaging services.
• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations and scalability improvements.
• Document and promote best‑practice procedures for messaging infrastructure.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with NetWare and SUSE Linux administration.
• Strong background in Windows Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
• Proven experience migrating at least 500 users from GroupWise to Exchange across multiple projects.
• Hands‑on experience with Storage Area Networks and network configuration.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement core infrastructure in enterprises of 500+ users.
