SYSPRO Subject Matter Expert – FMCG Manufacturing

About the role

A well‑established FMCG manufacturing company in Verulam is looking for an experienced SYSPRO Subject Matter Expert to own the ERP system and drive operational excellence across manufacturing, inventory, procurement, sales, warehousing and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SYSPRO expert and first point of contact for system queries.
• Analyse, improve and optimise business processes within SYSPRO.
• Support and train end‑users across all departments.
• Maintain master data integrity for inventory, suppliers, customers, BOMs and product information.
• Investigate and resolve system issues and process inefficiencies.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards and business intelligence tools.
• Liaise with external SYSPRO service providers and internal IT teams for enhancements and upgrades.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end financial processes.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides and training material.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on SYSPRO experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement, production planning, BOMs, sales & distribution and financial modules.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train users at all levels.
