Syrup Maker – Production Process Support

About the role

Coca‑Cola Beverages South Africa is seeking a Syrup Maker to join its Process Support Department in Midrand. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing high‑quality syrup batches that meet the company’s strict standards.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately mix and prepare syrup batches according to specifications.
• Handle ingredients and concentrates safely and efficiently.
• Follow Coca‑Cola Operating Requirements (KORE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout the process.
• Operate and monitor syrup processing equipment.
• Execute Cleaning‑in‑Place (CIP) and sanitation protocols.
• Maintain basic product quality standards.
• Document and ensure traceability of all batch activities.
• Communicate and coordinate with production and quality teams.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in syrup or beverage production.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Unit Manager.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.

Required skills

• Operation and monitoring of syrup processing equipment.
• Cleaning‑in‑Place (CIP) procedures.
• Ingredient and concentrate handling.
• Batch documentation and traceability.
