Supply Chain Manager – Johannesburg

About the role

As a Supply Chain Manager based in Johannesburg, you will provide supply chain oversight for Flavours Operations at a medium‑to‑small site. You will lead demand and supply planning, customer service and project management activities to ensure on‑time manufacturing and delivery of products while meeting quality and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supply chain inputs to the Operations business plans and help design the regional supply chain strategy.
• Adapt and implement the regional strategy, overseeing tactical and operational plans to meet local goals.
• Execute strategies to achieve cost‑effective performance across all supply chain functions.
• Oversee local demand and supply planning, inventory management and material availability.
• Participate in the S&OP cycle and review supply‑demand balances.
• Develop the supply chain network and organise reliable, efficient, safe warehouse and shipping operations.
• Ensure compliance with import/export trade regulations and manage customs brokers in collaboration with IM&S.
• Coordinate transportation with the regional transportation department.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities and support EHS projects.
• Build the annual operating plan for the site.

Required profile

• Supply chain oversight experience for Flavours Operations in a medium‑to‑small manufacturing site.
