Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead the planning, coordination and optimisation of the end‑to‑end supply chain for battery energy storage systems, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, timely delivery and working‑capital effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with project delivery schedules and business objectives.
• Manage procurement of electronic, electrical and mechanical components such as PCBs, wiring, connectors, battery cells, BMS, sheet‑metal and plastic parts.
• Oversee sourcing and coordination of services including container manufacturing, cabling, HVAC and fire‑suppression systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts.
• Lead demand planning, inventory optimisation and material requirements planning within an ERP environment.
• Monitor supply chain risks, lead times and logistics constraints, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce or a related field with a focus on Supply Chain Management.
• 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proven experience sourcing electronic, electrical and mechanical components.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., ERPNext, Syspro) and MRP planning processes.
• Expertise in procurement of electronic, electrical and mechanical parts.
