Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Clicks is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Supply Planning, Central Replenishment and Shipping teams at its head office in Woodstock, Cape Town. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end inventory planning, distribution centre capacity management and omni‑channel fulfilment to ensure product availability across stores and online channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute inventory planning strategies to optimise stock levels across stores and distribution centres.
• Manage distribution centre capacity, order flow, shipping activities and system parameter optimisation.
• Drive omni‑channel planning processes that support online sales and fulfilment objectives.
• Achieve targeted Supplier Infill, DC Availability and Store Availability metrics.
• Monitor stock budgets, vendor receipts and inventory flow to control costs.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and supply‑chain optimisation projects, including vendor collaborative forecasting.
• Build collaborative relationships with local and import vendors to improve infill and availability KPIs.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning to align inventory spend with sales forecasts and promotional events.
• Oversee import processes, ensuring timely delivery to DCs while balancing cost versus service.
• Provide accurate, timely management reports and perform ad‑hoc analyses to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain management, inventory planning and distribution centre operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Strong analytical capability to monitor budgets, KPIs and perform performance analyses.
• Experience collaborating with demand‑planning teams and private‑label suppliers.
• Ability to manage import logistics and optimise inbound lead times.
