Supplier Quality Engineer (Fixed‑term)

About the role

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer on a fixed‑term basis to support our rubber molding, extrusion and compounding operations. The role will focus on ensuring that supplier‑delivered components meet automotive and industrial quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits and assessments in line with IATF 16949 and other relevant standards.
• Manage APQP and PPAP processes for new and existing parts.
• Perform root‑cause analysis using 8D, Six Sigma and other problem‑solving tools.
• Validate rubber polymer properties, curing cycles, and bonding processes.
• Review engineering drawings, GD&T specifications and customer requirements.
• Generate and maintain quality documentation, SPC charts, and MSA studies.

Required profile

• Diploma or related qualification in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
• 3‑5+ years of customer‑facing quality engineering experience in a rubber‑focused plant.
• Familiarity with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949) is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of rubber polymers, curing characteristics and testing methods.
