About the role

Our client in the private education sector is recruiting a proactive and dynamic Student Advisor to join their student recruitment team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident presenting at schools, driven by performance targets, and passionate about helping students take the next step in their academic journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compelling presentations at targeted schools and expos
• Distribute marketing materials and generate student interest
• Represent the institution at stakeholder events
• Meet monthly school presentation and database collection targets
• Make proactive calls and schedule student interviews
• Conduct interviews using scripts, engaging with students and parents
• Respond to online applications and queries timeously
• Achieve weekly, monthly and annual interview targets
• Guide students through the application process during interviews
• Follow up on payments and missing documentation
• Drive conversions through calling campaigns and follow‑ups
• Meet application and pre‑registration fee payment targets
• Support the team to meet annual registration targets
• Ensure interview forms and applications are complete and accurate
• Maintain daily reports and update CRM systems as required

Required profile

• 3‑year Diploma or Degree in PR, Business, Marketing or Communications
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales, preferably in education or student recruitment
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, target‑driven and customer‑focused
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
