Structural Engineering Draughtsman / Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineering Draughtsman/Technician to join our engineering team in Johannesburg. The role involves producing detailed layout, section and elevation drawings for concrete and steel structures and supporting site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare structural layout and general arrangement drawings for concrete and steel structures.
• Create structural sections, details and elevations.
• Develop reinforcing and steel detailing packages.
• Use CADDIE and Prokon software to produce accurate design documentation.
• Conduct site visits to verify design intent and gather field information.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in structural drafting or detailing.
• National Diploma in Civil Engineering (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Proven competence in CAD environments and Prokon package.
