Strategic Alliance Manager – Sub‑Saharan Africa

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Strategic Alliance Manager for Sub‑Saharan Africa to accelerate growth through partnerships with global technology vendors, OEMs, hyperscalers and colocation providers. You will work across strategy, executive stakeholder management and joint go‑to‑market initiatives to expand our presence in hyperscale, edge, enterprise and colocation data centre markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute joint business plans with strategic alliance partners.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships across partner organisations.
• Drive integrated Schneider Electric infrastructure solutions in hyperscale, edge, enterprise and colocation markets.
• Generate, qualify and manage strategic opportunities across Sub‑Saharan Africa.
• Lead joint go‑to‑market initiatives, demand‑generation programmes and partner enablement.
• Facilitate executive governance through regular business reviews.
• Collaborate with internal sales, solutions, marketing and leadership teams to maximise alliance performance.
• Represent Schneider Electric at industry events, technical forums and executive roundtables.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in strategic alliances, channel sales, OEM partnerships or data‑centre sales.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑country initiatives and influence matrix organisations.
• Strong commercial acumen, business planning and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Fluency in English; French is advantageous.
