Strategic Account Manager – Senior Commercial Role

About the role

Experian is seeking a high‑potential internal candidate to step into a Senior Account Manager position within its Business & Financial Services team. The role combines new‑business acquisition with growth of strategically important existing clients, offering broad ownership and senior‑level visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and convert net‑new clients across priority industries and market segments.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation and close.
• Develop and execute growth plans by sector, account and opportunity to secure new logo wins.
• Maintain disciplined outbound prospecting, networking and market mapping activities.
• Identify expansion, cross‑sell and upsell opportunities within existing strategic accounts.
• Build focused account growth plans to increase share of wallet and broaden Experian’s relevance.
• Strengthen relationships with senior stakeholders and buying centres to open new growth routes.
• Partner with clients to understand business priorities and align them with Experian solutions.
• Lead strategic sector conversations, map target accounts and monitor market trends.

Required profile

• Proven strong sales capability with a track record of new‑business acquisition.
• High commercial judgement, curiosity, resilience and a proactive growth mindset.
• Confidence and credibility to engage senior decision‑makers and lead value‑based conversations.
• Ability to translate client needs into commercial outcomes for Experian.
