Stores Supervisor – Inventory & Warehouse Lead

About the role

Our client, a well‑established electronics manufacturing company, is looking for a Stores Supervisor to lead the Stores department. The role involves overseeing inventory control, warehouse operations and coordinating logistics to support production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily Stores operations, including receipt, storage, issuing and control of inventory.
• Manage job card processing and ensure accurate transactions in Syspro ERP.
• Monitor Work in Progress (WIP) together with Planning and Production teams.
• Maintain FIFO stock rotation, coordinate cycle counts, stock takes and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare stock adjustment documentation and support month‑end / year‑end inventory processes.
• Allocate work, coach and support the Stores team.
• Liaise with Production, Planning, Quality and other departments on material requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections, dispatch activities and finished‑goods warehouse operations.
• Prepare inventory and operational reports and ensure compliance with health‑safety standards and KPIs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field (advantageous).
• 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing stores or warehouse environment.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience with Syspro ERP or a similar system.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, planning, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
