Stores Operator – Team Leader (Raw Materials)

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is seeking a Stores Operator to lead the Raw Materials Stores team in Phoenix. You will ensure that packaging, ingredients and consumables are available to production at the right time, quantity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage and issue of raw materials and spares, applying FIFO and FEFO principles.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts and ERP transaction management.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality (FSSC) and SHEQ standards, isolating non‑conforming items.
• Update ERP data for all material movements and generate operational reports.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Raw Material Stores Controller and Operator.
• Collaborate with Production Controller, Procurement and suppliers to align material availability with production schedules.
• Support 5S and continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve warehouse layout.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a stores or inventory team.
• Strong knowledge of raw‑material handling, FIFO/FEFO and inventory control.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for goods receipt, stock transfers and issue to production.
• Understanding of food‑safety, quality and SHEQ compliance requirements.
