Storeman/Driver - Industrial Automation

About the role

The Storeman/Driver supports the efficient flow of stock within an industrial automation warehouse. You will handle receiving, storage, picking, dispatch preparation and assist with deliveries to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately store incoming stock in designated bins, update labelling and system records.
• Pick items for internal and customer orders, verify accuracy and prepare them for courier or direct collection.
• Assist receiving by checking goods against delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies.
• Participate in cycle counts, stock takes and spot checks, reporting variances.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment and follow health & safety guidelines.
• Provide general support to the dispatch and receiving teams and help with deliveries when required.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or storeman role (advantageous).
• Physically fit and able to perform manual lifting.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and a valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Attention to detail and systematic work approach.
• Basic computer literacy, preferably experience with ERP or WMS systems.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
