About the role

The Store Manager will lead daily operations of a retail outlet in Durban, ensuring efficient performance and profitability. This role combines team leadership, customer service excellence, and operational oversight to drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations, including sales performance, cash handling, and banking procedures.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate store staff to achieve sales and service targets.
• Monitor and analyse sales data, implementing strategies to increase revenue.
• Oversee stock control, inventory management, replenishment, and conduct regular stock counts to minimise shrinkage.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet company standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members; prepare schedules and manage attendance.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate promotions and marketing activities to maximise store performance.
• Maintain security procedures and safeguard company assets.
• Build strong customer relationships and promote retention.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a retail store or similar environment.
