About the role
The Store Manager will lead a passionate team of associates, maximise store sales and turnover, and ensure the store meets its financial and operational targets. The role also includes overseeing stock loss benchmarks, managing store administration, and upholding the company’s culture and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of associates to maximise store sales and turnover.
- Manage stock levels, control expenses and meet business targets.
- Maintain productivity by using store resources effectively.
- Act as custodian of all company policies and procedures.
- Train, develop and manage all staff members.
- Ensure stock loss benchmarks are maintained and store policies are followed.
- Oversee store cleanliness, hygiene and compliance with relevant laws.
- Deliver above‑average customer service and uphold a respectful, professional staff environment.
Required profile
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification; Mathematics is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years experience in retail store management or assistant store manager role.
- Excellent business English, both verbal and written.
